The bible states that Eve was created from the rib of Adam, lending credence to the belief that man is not only the dominant sex, but also the one responsible for the creation of females. The thing about this type of thinking is that it obviously wasn’t restricted to biblical times. Throughout history, the term woman has become synonymous with weak, fragile, sensitive, and among other things, dependent. Weak because they can’t do the heavy lifting that men can, fragile because they lack the sense of authority that men command, sensitive because they cry more than men, and dependent because if they ever want anything, they need a man to get it. It’s all bullshit. And what’s even crazier, is that many woman have grown up thinking that they are not only all of these things, but that they can never transcend the old-world stereotypes that many people have.
Why am I writing this? I’m writing this because I’ve encountered many amazing and life-changing women throughout the years, and I feel as if I owe it to them to share what I’ve learned. Here are a few gems about women that I’d like to pass on:
1. Women do heavy lifting all of the time. Aside from literally carrying the weight of the world in their uteruses, they are also responsible for balancing out the energy of the world. Men only exist because of women, and vice-versa.
2. There’s a difference between being sexy and being beautiful. A sexy woman usually appeals to the animal in a man, where she is perceived as being physically attractive. But beauty is something that the skin can’t always capture. It stems from the very core of a woman’s soul, and is something that has to be perceived with feeling instead of seeing. Beauty isn’t rare, but it often goes unnoticed.
3. A vagina is something to be celebrated and respected. Within the folds of soft skin lies the equivalent of magic, health, and happiness. Not only are they beautiful, but they are also something to be honored when given access to. In the same way that people believe that the eyes are windows to the soul, so is the vagina.
4. The smile of a woman can never be replaced. If one is ever so lucky to make a woman genuinely smile, they should cherish it, because no two women’s smiles are ever the same. They’re sort of like fingerprints that make a unique impression upon the hearts of those who encounter them.
5. Women are love. They symbolize the fact that love has no beginning or end. If any man were to ever find weakness in the physical disposition of a woman, they only need to feel their love to realize just how strong they truly are. Women love hard, they love deep, and their love can never be forgotten.
